We will be doing a school-wide activity to kick off our
Kindness Campaign for the year. Huge SHOUT-OUT to Breanna for finding this fun
and QUICK activity – and for offering to put the mosaics together
afterward!!! This activity should take
about 5 minutes TOTAL…
Activity: Warriors
STICK Together
Materials: Tongue
depressors (we’ll put these in your box in bundles of 40)
Markers
or Colored Pencils
Time: 5
minutes(ish) during your 2nd
PERIOD CLASS
Prompt: Decorate
your tongue depressor in a way that represents YOU
Details: Including
their FIRST name, please!
Can
draw pictures or make a design on ONE SIDE ONLY
Will
be displayed in the hallways / commons in mosaics
Due: Please
return to the Student Center by Friday, Sept 13
Ok
to send with a student runner – we’ll be collecting them in grade-level buckets
BONUS: We would also like every
faculty/staff member in the building to do one! Please let us know if you need
more tongue depressors.
